Cheap cold weather down sleeping bags???

Hi,
I am looking for a down filled sleeping bag with a comfort temperature in the range of -5 to -15 c, preferably with some kind of water resistance. Can anyone recommend any suitable bags for under £150???
Many thanks!

I recently got an ex military Arctic down bag for £50.00 from Ebay (bloke selling army surplus gear). V warm although not water resistant - so got round that by using it inside a bivvy bag. Not that heavy or bulky either. Seems to do what it's supposed to.

It's not a down bag but its still farely compact and is rated to -5 C. I think it cost about 80 delivered. Ebay search for it.

unless you know you will constantly be keeping dry, keep with synthetics. (i have always used snugpac ( brett harris, silsden)
down is useless if damp, and if you treat it with waterproofing, you will probably lose loft. I realise they are bulky (mine rated to -45c, and it fills the topbox on a c90), but a good nights sleep is paramount.

Alpkit.

Camping equipment including sleeping bags, sleeping mats and lightweight cooking equipment Outdoor Gear Shop - Alpkit

I have a Skyehigh 600 and it's fab. Used on a down filled airbed it is a little too warm for summer use, but better that than too cold when the temp falls.

another vote for Alpkit; their stuff is top quality but isn't priced as such because they are not a famous brand.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I was thinking of using a down bag because of the space saving (we are 2up) and the warmth. I guess there are pros and cons of synthetic v down. However, I have noticed that the 'comfort' ratings don't seem to mean much. Is this what you have found???
