UK deals! Sleeping bags anad tents
Now I like my tents and I own two of them (a pitiful number compared to some, I know). However, I've never been tempted to buy more than one at a time.
That said, if any of you are suddenly gripped by the urge to buy two tents at once, this offer might be of interest:
2 for 1.5
And if you are looking for sleeping bags, I heartily recommend Nanok bags (the company that makes the more expensive Ray Mears Woodlore range). I a pair bought of Comfort -10 synthetic bags from a company called Nordic Outdoors, in the UK wheh they were having the 2008 range clearance and got these well-specced bags at a very reasonalbe price. They are having a similar clearance this year.
Cut price sleeping bags.
Still not cheap-cheap, but good quality and accurately rated, unlike some, as my Comfort -10 has just kept me toasty for a night on my balcony in -12C. Personally, I prefer synthetic and I don't know if Nanok down is ethically sourced, but if it is of importance to you, I'm sure one can find out.
Adventure: it's an experience, not a style!
(so ride what you like, but ride it somewhere new!)
