pacsafe

Here's a start point:-

eBay UK Shop - Mike Baxter Trading PacSafe UK: PacSafe, exomesh, PacSafe Rucksack Webbing

Do a search for pacsafe which is the trade name that I think you are thinking of - there has been some discussion about this system in other threads in here.

one more shop is: Pacsafe Pacsafe 85 kaufen Sie bei Globetrotter Ausrüstung!

well it's a German mail order shop.
mainly for rucksacks up to 55-85 L cost 64.95 euros not cheap
they sale a extra steel roope 240cm long 24.95 euros

may gives you a refference.... the whole shop is not cheap anyway.

main page is: Pacsafe

they do packsafe in sizes like: pacsafe 85, 100, 120, 140, and all sorts of bags....

Pacsafe

I bought mine from Les at Travdri-plus. He supports HU and attends the meetings. Superb friendly service, advice and chance to support a fellow motorcyclist.

I've recently ordered the new StuffSafe because the mesh is on the outside and should do less damage to visors etc. than the plain rucksack covers. It's also waterproof. I'll let you know if it's any good when it arrives.

Also check Jessops

I picked up a couple of the Pac Safes from Jessops in their bargain bins for about 10 GBP each. Great for a visible deterrent for my jackets and helmets when leaving the bike for short periods. I also fed a cable through the jacket arm and helmet chin piece just because I had it there.

With the pak safe my gear was never disturbed. When I was just using the cable I came back to the bike a couple of times where the gear had been moved around ???

Is that the Jessops that sells cameras in the UK Ozrockrat, or some other trader?
I can see why they would stock the smaller bags (for camera security) but you got the big ones from them for a tenner?
Good deal if so!!

The big ones

The ones I got were big enough to fit 2 jackets and helmets in. They can fit over the BMW topbox on my GS which I have done when I had something special in I didn't want the opportinuity thieves grabbing. But be carefull if you use them over a duffle and strap them to the bike as they will rub marks into the paintwark or panniers .

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
