RS CARGO's ?

Just found these on the J&S site they look pretty useful and retail for £40. Has anyone got a pair ? what are they like ?
I am very interested as I have been after a pair of lightweight cargo's linned with kevlar for a while but they are all normally £80 plus.

If no one has them I may bite the bullet and test a pair out and then write a short review.:scooter:

I've seen these in the local J&S, really liked the feel of them, but when I tried them on they were quite tight in the crotch. This may of course be because I am a bit of a chunky monkey, but I found Draggin Jeans Cargo's to be comfier.

Cheers will try a pair tomorrow hope they fit ok as I cant really afford the extra for the draggins at the mo.

see what you mean, tried a pair on I had to go up 4inches in waist size to get a pair that would fit my legs and enable me to sit on the bike.

If they fit you then a bit of a bargain for £40 as they looked to be good quality pitty they are a strange fit.

will save me pennies for some draggins :scooter:

I have the Draggin cargos and am on my second pair. They are almost indestructible and very comfy!

cheers guys the draggins it will be. like I said if those Rs actually fit people then they would be a great bargain but they dont seem like they are cut for sitting on a bike !:scooter:

Anyone know where you can buy Draggin jeans with a long length (ie 34/36") ? I'm not saying you lot are all short-arses :oops2: but I tried on loads of pairs and not one pair were a decent length so would just ride up high when on the bike. And that's not a good look!

Dun know mate but good news for me as me legs hardly exist:scooter:

Hmm, I always thought that Dragging Jeans had really long legs in them anyway, I have had a pair of the Cargo pants and the Chino style ones and have had to have about three inches chopped of the leg on both of them, even allowing for sitting on the bike. Have you tried the cargo pants or is it just the jeans you have tried?

Sorry, I meant the cargos. Haven't tried the jeans.

From the Draggin Jeans Australian Website FAQ:

Q: What leg lengths do they come in?
A.
All mens come standard 34” inseam ..ladies 32”…we can make longer if required. We make slightly longer than normal and recommend you put your boots on and sit on your bike to check length before hemming.

Looks like it would have to be a custom job if you are on the tall side.

Done a bit of searching on the Internet (quiet day at work) and Hideout Leather in the UK do a 'custom leg size' deal for an additional £10

Draggin Jeans Mens Cargos Khaki

Not sure if that just means they will cut them down or if they can also get hold of ones with a longer leg length.

Wow I;d have to lop 4" off em and no doubt the kevlar knee section would do a stalwart job protecting my lower shins lol

As another stumpy legger, I have a pair of Draggin cargo's, already shortened and up for grabs if you're interested.

PM me for details.
