more showers

Coleman and Primus now do portable showers-in-a-box heated by a gas cylinder. Also here in Oz, there are heat exchangers available which you plumb into a car's cooling system to run an electric shower. Now that's living - a hot shower every night! Car - yes, bike - I think not. How clean do you need to be?

bathing in streams/rivers can be good, BUT>>> just look about for what feeds the water flow. I jumped into a river fed pond in 35c in Turkey once. It took my breath away. As I lay on the bank and looked up, I could see the snow on the mountains where the water came from. Two miles away my stream was frozen snow.
Now I always dip my toe in first :)

Solar showers work well and are very cheap , just one tough black water bladder and a hose with sprinkler .No moving parts ,no batteries just leave in the sun for a few hours .
When the weather's dull -- boil a kettle !

Or you could always have a 'Indian bath', squat on a stool/rock and pour one jug/pan of water over you and then soap, then rinse with another jug/pan (or two) of water, costs nothing, and very effective:thumbup1: I had to resort to this (as the locals did) in Gujarat (Rajkot) due to a water shortage. As mentioned you can always boil a pan of water and dilute to taste:clap:
