Leathers - Adjustments & Repairs UK?

I have just procured a real bargain on Gumtree - a lovely pair of women's size 14 leather jeans made by Richa.

The jeans are really nice - good quality and protective BUT - They don't fit my Mrs! The waist is too narrow. I don't get it because she's a size 12 in most clothes. I do think leathers often come up on the small end...

I was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction of someone who can skillfully adjust the waist to a size 16? I realise it's not so easy as taking them in. This will obviously require additional panel put on? It needs about an extra 3 inches added.

It would be a pity to sell them onwards however, is it preferable to spending money adjusting them.....

Thanks in anticipation.
Neil

Talking

Take the trousers and the Mrs on holiday for a week end or so to Morocco Awesome leather workers out there and she will thank you for it
Add in a sunset and a 'chameau aux pruneaux' tagine and the job's a good one.

Fly there cheaply Neil thereby avoiding the need to see riders who don't wave back .....

( Xmas must be approaching as I'm getting cheeky!)

+1 for these guys

I run a bike shop and one of our clothing suppliers uses them for any warranty repairs - we have never had a problem with their work.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
