Question JTS jackets/pants/gloves - any good?

Just curious... saw them relatively well-priced here: Solorider.es
But haven't hear of it before from anywhere else... and the place seems to have some pretty decent stuff in their stock (e.g. andy strapz). Sorry for the spanish... the site's language function (as well as some other stuff) seems to be a bit... uhmm... crappily done.

(Still buggers me that you have to pay a full 50%+ - more than 100€ - over the Oz price for the pannierz... from well-priced @ 200€ to rather pricey at 300€+... damn import/export laws... the day borders and nation-states collapse I'll be a happy camper - well, long-dead probably but hey, one can dream right?)... uhmmm, sorry for the off-topic rant.

Hi . JTS stuff, we have purchased a few jackets and pants tempted by the very good prices however we live only a short distance from the shop jackets have been returned with stitched seams coming undone and pants have been returned as not waterproof ,however there has never been any trouble with their warranty and all items have been exchanged without compromise

I've only ever had a waterproof jacket/trousers combi from them, so my knowledge is not extensive. BUT...neither the jacket or the trousers were particularly waterproof, which IMO is quite a big failing in the waterproof jacket/trousers market.

They leaked at pretty much every seam, leaving you with a wet crotch and soggy armpits.

Having said that, they were damn cheap.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
