Question Inflatable Mattress

Did someone at the HU Cooroy meeting manage to get the name and details for the self inflating mattress that was displayed and which everyone thought was a top bit of gear.

thanks

Absolutely, Exped Downmat 7 Deluxe.

We just had two delivered from Bivouac in NZ - nice bit of kit.

I use the Exped Downmat DLX9 - it's available from K2 in the Valley. Best investment I ever made!

Those who mention the Exped 7 and 9 downmats, note these are NOT self inflating, they have a built in pump, the new ones anyway.

I think the one Saab mentioned may be different, I am not sure, I was there(well, in spirit) but I cannot be sure an actual self inflating one was there, the Exped 7 definitly was.

A big thumbs up on these Exped 7's anyway, as they are a comfortable sleep. althoug next time I will get the deluxe? as it is wider, just that bit more room to move around on.

Cheers'TS

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
