I'm quite happy with my Draggin' Jeans, only two drawbacks I can see.

First of all the pockets are cut strange. The opening seems far to small, so even when not sitting on the bike it's almost impossible to put something in or get something out. Not much troube since I carry a bum bag for the most part anyway.

On the bike I find my fairly good ventilated purpose build pants (some Lindstrands modell) much more comfy, off the bike not so much...

If you do more biking the walking around, imho you should always get proper clothing. In smaller offs draggin or hood jeans do better than average jeans, but proper attire will always outperform them, which means less broken bones for you...

I'll add my vote to Hood Jeans, my wife and I used them in the USA for 3 months. Much better than leathers for coolness. For short walks off the bike, no issues. Dry out pretty quick when hit with flash rains :-)

I now carry them along with my leathers if I do a big trip to Europe, so I can change when I need to.

Wearing the Jeans today, as bright and clear out. Short trips in the cold are ok as well.

I've just received my Hood Jeans, they seem quite heavy. I guess a few washes will sort that out. Am planning on using them this weekend.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events (22 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
