Good place to get ...

.... all kind of outdoor equipment, especially clothing:

Sierra Trading Post - Save 35-70% on Famous Name Brands

I don't get any personal discounts or favors by referring people here.

It is just the place where I bought (and will buy) my stuff!!

Hi Klaus,
Looks interesting.

What experience have you had with their international shipping? - it appears to be a comprehensive service and it promises a quick and easy transaction.

When i was living in Scotland i had 3 packages sent from sierra trading post with no problems from customs etc.
postage was reasonable.

It is a outlet/dump point for older/slow selling models/ colours so there is normally not a complete range of things but if you can keep a regular eye on it there is some serious deals to be had! but they'll go quickly!

Shipping by Sierra T.P.

Dave,

nothing at all to complain about!! Very reliable. Sure, the problem with buying cloth
es online is always that you don't know whether they will fit or not. All the stuff I ordered so fayr (and I can tell you -masses!!) was always perfect. As I said, even adding the shipping fee made the stuff much cheaper for me compared with Japan. Things I bought so far included socks, baselayer, jackets (got a great Helly Hansen jacket there 3 years ago, wind and water-proof for something like $70!!!! It really is a sailing jacket but ideal for motorcycling, too), just too much tolist all!!! Check their homepage more or less regularly and you can come up with great deals!!

Safe riding

Klaus

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
