For our Turkish bikers

I'm in Ankara at the moment and I have to replace my tank bag. I've been at the BMW dealer but they have nothing in stock. Does anybody of you know a shop where I can buy a decent tank bag.

Thanks in advanced.

Shops in Ankara

I buy my gear in Germany as they are slightly cheaper and I can have a selection there.

Can find more shops in Istanbul like Hein-Gericke together with some Turkish ones.

I found these shops in Ankara by internet search:

Motomax:

1. Motomax Discount Center İlkbahar Mah. Conrad Adenauer str. 251, 1/14 Çankaya Ankara Tel: 0312-490 5550
39o51'54,49" N 32o51' 36.38" E
2.Bahçelievler 4.44 MOTOR
Emek mah. 4.cad. No.44 Tel: 0312 222 43 43 - 0312 222 43 48
3. Batıkent ULUSAN
İnönü mah. Yıldırımlar Sanayi Sitesi 91. sok No.8
Tel: 0312 278 07 57 - 0312 278 59 04
*
MOTOMAX - Motosikletler ATVler Kask Giyim ve Aksesuarlar
*
online shop : Türkiyenin En Geniş İçerikli Online Motosiklet Mağazasına Hoş Geldiniz...

It is all I can do now.
Hope you can find them easily. If you have a trouble and don't have a GPS, give the address to a taxi driver and after finding the shop pay him.
Better than get lost

Hey Richard,

Sammy listed nearly all bike shops you might find a tankbag. I remember a motorcycle shop on the same street with Ulusan motor. I bought my Touratech tankbag from there for my 1200GSA. I dont know that shop still exists. I think Ulusan motor has another place in Çankaya and that place is where i am talking about. (Birlik Mah. 450cad. 493Sok. No:1 Çankaya/Ankara).

Cheers,
Ozgur
