Dakar Anyone?
Anyone any field experience with the Klim Dakar pants?
I read they vent well and might have pockets for protective pads come March '09. And the price seems good... |

I don't have any experience with Klim motorcycle apparel but I do with their snowmobile gear (I believe they started with snowmobile apparel and have evolved into the motorcycle world). Klim is considered a leader for snowmobile apparel and many (including myself) consider them to produce the best stuff for snowmobiling on the market. I would think if they could make apparel that, given the rigorous conditions that we face, serves snowmobilers so well they could also produce superb motorcycle gear.
Being so non-specific, this probably isn't much help but since you haven't received any other answers to your question I thought I would post the general info I do know about Klim. Mike Idaho www.rtwrider.net

Thanks, Mike. I guess you're getting several feet of snow in Idaho at the moment, so getting a lot of use from your Klim snowmobile clothing!
I did some research on Adv Rider about Klim, which reads very well for the product. Seems Klim clothing is best quality. For 2009, the UK distributor expects Klim to bring trousers with pockets for armour too |
