Dainese Leather 2 Piece Suit - Silly Price!

I just found this - The Outdoor - UK Army Surplus Shop -

The sizes are limited but this seems a fantastic deal indeed for only £200

I'm a fat bast... so I'm afraid this suit isn't suitable for me.

The normal retail price of the jacket is £350 and the jeans are £250

Saw that when I recently bought some kit from there. "Temporarily out of stock" according to the website. I'll have one if they get any in the next size up.

Craig,

Have you seen those large water carriers? I bought 4 of em for £20! A fantastic deal indeed and nothing wrong with any of them. I can recommend this company to anyone, they deliver without fail within 7 days.

Those Dainese leather 2-piece suits really are a bargain!

someone has just been done in the UK for selling fake 'branded' leathers. Dunno anything about these people, but they are very cheap Dainese leathers ?

apparently the guy was buying them in from Pakistan at £85, and flogging them online for around £250. A £400,000 business....

Dougie,

Good point but these guys are not likely to be selling bent gear... They work hand in hand with the British Ministry of Defence who are disposing unwanted stock.

In fact I suspect these Dainese suits may have been originally ordered and used by the MoD Police. If they are genuine Dainese then this is a hell of a deal (£200 / $400).

I have just bought these - Black NANKAI Leather Motorcycle Suit - Dainese Quality on eBay, also Men's Leathers, Full Leathers Sets, Motorcycle Clothing Helmets, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 16-Jan-08 00:54:57 GMT)

They seem an excellent buy - Dainese quality for £200. I can confirm they are as good as my old Dainese stuff. I am told that Nankai are very well known in the USA and that the owner recently died and his company went into liquidation. I have come across Nankai racing gloves before but not suits of this quality.

I was buying some slash resistant gloves for my brother (he's a plod) and some clothing to add to his fishing kit. I also picked up an army surplus Trangia stove for about £12 which I'll be taking on my travels. Bought from them before and definitely recommend them.

The company you're talking about is click2buy. They were the company advertising unbranded suits at silly prices in various bike mags. Obviously they didn't have the front to advertise their Ducati branded suits in a national magazine. They were based in Jarrow, just across the river from Newcastle. Funnily enough, I was at Kawasaki Newcastle last weekend and they were selling very similar looking, unbranded suits for around £200.
