Cotton lined leather jeans

I am after some leather jeans that are not lined with nylon but something a bit less sweat inducing like cotton for a Morrocco trip next spring. Dont want heavily knee/ass padded jobs just something simple that offers a bit more protection than the lightweight man-made stuff I have already

Cotton-lined leather? In Morocco?!

Take plenty of water. :)

Leather in the sun may be a tad warm, and cotton when its damp if you reach cold weather is lethal in how much heat it will suck from you!

Merino wool leggings, t shirts and zip neck polos are fab under my fabric jacket, and maintain a good temp hot or cold (when layered), but I've never ridden in Morocco! My merino T's are more comfy than any cotton one in the sun though :)

have a look-see in Hein Gericke for good trousers-
leather in heat is horrible IMHO - wore them too many years- textiles are way better you know

Leather in Morocco

I rode round Morocco 2 years ago in Black leather jacket with cotton lining and Draggin jeans. Our route went over desert pistes and some tracks in the High Atlas. Never had a problem with heat.

My buddy had nylon jacket and MX pants and sweated like a pig, he was constantly adjusting the zip of his jacket to manage the heat.

I had some old belstaff leather jeans which had cotton linings in my luggage. I didn't wear them in Morrocco was because I liked the filthy patina my Draggin jeans were developing. ha ha. You can often see the same Belstaff jeans on ebay, for less than £50 second hand.

In summary, cotton lined leather jeans are available, and they're great for Morrocco.

Thanks fellas I will have a search about. I know that heat is always going to be an issue but personally I would always rather sweat into leather than boil in nylon
Cheers
