Belstaff Merlin jacket and Pro Toura pants

I posted a question in the tech forum, "equiping the bike, whats the best gear?" section regarding the merlin jacket etc. perhaps I should have posted it here. Anyway if anyone has this belstaff gear and not seen my question it is over there for you to check out and reply if poss. thanks.

for 4 years i have used belstaff trailmaster pants, which i wear over my regular trousers and i find them windproof and waterproof.
to protect your knees from getting cold, use duct tape, and tape a square of bubble wrap inside over the knee area---you will be amazed at how comfortable this is. I ride in temperatures od plus 5C and above. Above 15C no need for trousers, just the belstaff trailmaster pants!!

Newfie, thanks for the bubble wrap tip. I was thinking of doing something similar with closed cell foam. Glad to know it works so good. So far I like the pro toura pants, like your trialmaster they fit over my jeans or can be worn alone if need be when its hot. The merlin jacket is good too(so far)and in heavy rain I have stayed dry. I'll be giving them all a good test out soon in a across country and back U.S. trip. cheers.
