Anybody wearing Daytona Boots

I'm just about to fork out considerable amounts of cash for a pair of Daytona travel star gtx boots.
None to be tried on in Australia so will be importing direct from Germany and want to get the sizing right.

Have done a heap of searches with some saying Daytona generally run true to size and others saying they run slightly larger than other brands.

Would appreciate any help regarding how true to size the Daytonas are.

Cheers

Anybody ?

Hi, I always buy Daytona boots in my normal size - and they haven't changed their dimensions for ages (I'm on my fifth pair now, having bought Road Star GTX, Lady Star GTX and Trans Open GTX).

To be on the safe side, you could probably contact Daytona with your measurements before you place an order and ask for their advice.

Good luck! http://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/thumb.gif

I have a pair of Trans open's - had them on for the last 10 months almost full time. Fantastic boots but the size was slightly over what would normally be a nine. Perfect for thick socks though. I just use a pair of in soles and thin socks when hot and remove the in soles for thick socks.

Can still walk through creeks and keep dry feet.

They have always run true to size for my wife(5/36) and myself (11.5/46). I have a narrow foot and they fit fine with a good insole.
We are on 2nd set, first 17 years and leather still nice and totally waterproof.

Standard for me too. 9uk - 43cm. Never varies.

I have the JOURNEY XCR great boots no any problem with the size.

Great boots but the instep is soft. This is not a problem if you have rubber foot pegs. If you have metal foot pegs then the instep of the left boot gets worn away changing gear. Friend of mine also has this problem.

Had my boots a week. Could have done a long hike straight out of the box.
Super comfy, quality finish, very happy and true to size which was my original concern:thumbup1:

Love the boots!

I have them, Yuup a little expensive but very comfortable boots. i have big calves and bought another pair of boots online which said they had plenty of room in the calves but didn't! I ended up selling them. These boots are great and help with vertically challenged people like me. I drive an F800GS and can almost get my heals to the ground with a 30 inch inseam. My recommendation is buy them.
