Go for your usual size. They're very comfy, high quality and protective boots. Worth every euro.

Same here. All four of us have Daytonas, all with our true and trusted size we regularly have in other shoes. Missus got the LadyStar, I got the enduro version with metal cap. We finally got around to buy a pair each for the kids this year, as they are fantastic for extended walking and being rainproof for days at the same time (GoreTex). Been lucky though and got them (discontinued series) for ridiculous 130 Euros instead of 270 a pop.
Cheers
Chris

Bought a pair of Road Star GTX for myself at Christmas and they are by far the best boots I have ever had but unusually I had to buy a size 10 when I usually take a size 9, I just couldn't get the size 9 on, maybe I have a high instep but they really are fantastic boots.

I have a pair, can't remember the exact model name, they are comfortable on the bike but not for walking for long periods so I went for Altbergs in the end.

Altbergs are supremely comfortable but after breaking a few bones in my foot at 10kph wearing sidi adventures, I worry about the lack of protection the Altbergs and Daytonas give me.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
