Acerbis Motox Lid; Yes or No and other thoughts :)

Firstly apologies if I have missed a similar thread - I have searched but cant find answers (if you know of a thread please direct me) so here goes...

I have an xt600e and am looking for a lid suitable for off road exploration and potential long term travel. I do not want a hybrid lid (ie with peak and visor) and am looking for a plain white, lightweight mx style lid.

Performance at speed is not important as I will rarely travel above 55/60 mph and typically less. Same goes for noise.

I do not want a premium lid as my experiences so far are shark and shoei and frankly (for me) the shark won hands down at a fraction of the price.

I don't really want to spend more than around £100 but would stretch to £150 for the right thing. In this range Acerbis seem to start to tick boxes. They also (seem to) have heritage in the industry which (I hope) implies a well thought through product.

So... can anyone recommend (or the opposite) an Acerbis lid or similar? All pros and cons and any experience of ownership of anything in this territory (and used as I intend) gratefully received.

I am strongly considering the very light Acerbis 035 FIBER or slightly heavier xpro.

I await your thoughts!

Thanks all!

I have neither of those helmets, but have the Acerbis Active Dual sport helmet..

Pros- cheap
-got a visor- after riding in cities behind belching trucks in diesel fumes (Iran, Stans, India) , I am very glad I didn't have an open mx helmet with goggles

Cons-
Visor has no UV protection on it, I get very sunburnt
-no chin curtain so is very loud once I hit 80+kph (I ride a DRZ with no screen)
-cheap construction- worn it for 3 months, and the plastic clips came out... I had to gaffer tape the peak and visor on, when I was 500kms from my destination, and had to order new clips-

I was curious about the Acerbis stuff...

From what i've read here and on other forums, the Spada dual purpose is possibly a better option?
