Touratech Fog Lamp Not Working

One lamp works the other doesn't. Changed the one not working with a new bulb and it still doesn't work..!!

1. Swap bulbs between the two lights. If the problem changes sides, the new bulb is duff too (not unknown). If the problem remains, your problem is in the wiring or connectors.

2. Do they work off the same switch? If so, the problem is between the light and wherever the cables branch for the two separate lights. If not, check for 12V at the + side of the relevant switch and isolate the fault in sections from there.

Broken/loose connector most likely.

checked the connectors that attach to the bulb with a volt meter and there is no current running through them. Are you suggesting there could be a problem with the switch?

If there is no current at the lamp end of the cable, then there is a problem between the battery and the lamp connector, which could be a faulty battery connection, a faulty switch, or a fault in the cable anywhere between the battery and the lamp. The only way to locate the fault is to use a circuit tester on each run of the cable and each component. My post was attempting to help you narrow the search down to one section of the circuit to make finding the fault easier.
