touratech cases

Hi,

I'm looking into buying a second hand set of the special touratech cases, the ones with the cutout for the exhaust.
These are on a 1150 GS and I'm wandering whether they also fit on a 1100 GS,according to Touratech this is not possible but maybe some of you out there know otherwise?
If it is possibel what adjustments would have to be made?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,

Frank

Hi Frank.
Yes the R1150 / 1100 have basically the same subframe. So they will fit without too much hassel. The Exhaust extension may have to be slightly modified.
Check out this site.Get a New set for the Same
price as a second hand set.

Cheers for the info!
I'll have a look into the others panniers and will find out for how much the second hand set will go for before I decide.
Happy riding!

Frank

hi Frank, the special set frames 1100 and 1150 are different on the exhaust side.
you would need to reweld the 1150 frame to get it to fit.
