Hi Skits, I have an 83 R80g/s and I do not think the telefix will fit. There is a San Jose BMW brace that fits but its very expensive, Maybe you could build a copy. Cheers

Telefix does make a fork brace to fit the 81-86 G/S series. I had one mounted on mine, and it worked well. there is not a lot of clearence between the brace and the wheel, but I think it is enough to keep all but the thickest mud from craming thing up.

What did you chose ?

San Jose BMW - The Largest BMW Motorcycle Dealer in The Bay Area.
Motorworks - BMW Motorcycle Spares - home they took over The Ultimate Source stock.
Think I've seen some braces from German companies to; HPN, Wuedo, Wonderlich, Fallert, Motoren Israel, Siebenrock, do not remember which on - just browse and see what they have.
Luftmeister had some to - but Luftmeister dissappered around 1995. Said to have been bought by California Triumph and BMW, but I have failed to find either.
