I have a '91 R80GS and would like to fit a side stand that I can flip out while sitting on the bike. I seem to remember reading of someone who was modifying sure foot stands to fit but cannot find any details. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions. Thanks AC.

Maybe this one: Brown's Sidestand (heavy duty) - - A&S BMW Motorcycle Parts and Accessories
I've never tried it myself. |

Here's one expensive aftermarket option that works for people with short inseam or bent left crashbar and sagging oem sidestand hiding under the left jug:
MigStand for airhead monolever & paralever GS, round 2 - ::. UKGSer.com .::

Wow John, that is perhaps the best aftermarket sidestand that I have ever seen for the beemers!
Since I need a sidestand on the right side of my bike, this would be perfect if they can make a mirrored version - ![]() (I've already place that question to MigStand).
