R80/100GS paralever driveshaft rebuild

Can anybody recommend a driveshaft rebuild service for my paralever shaft.
There is one advertised on this site, has anybody used it? or should I just buy a new shaft?

Just check whether the rebuilt driveshaft has sealed bearings. Here in Munich you do find rebuilds which are considerably cheaper than the original Beemer shafts, but without sealed bearings in the universal joints. Apparently BMW has a patent on them and does not permit rebuilds to be fitted with sealed bearings.

This means that you will have to service the shaft roughly every 5,000 kms...

There is a company called Boxertoko in Holland (who also run the webshop boxersupplies.com), who do new and improved driveshafts.

Have you contacted:

Motorworks - BMW Motorcycle Spares - home
Moto-bins - BMW Spare Parts and Accessories for Motorcycles - Index
BMW Motorcycle Parts // Welcome

?

I have discussed this with Mr. Nord at MW a few years back, and had e-mail contact with MB about it. I know I've seen some mentioning about it from JS as well.
German shops do however have a -very- good reputation here in Sweden concering these services; it is considered well worth the cost to send once shaft to Germany here. Shipping is however affordable between Sweden and Germany, whilst shipping costs to/from Britain is quite high...
