R1200gsa Tool Kit

My 1200gsa came without tool kit told by dealer bike to complicated for the owner to maintain. Has anyone got list of basic kit for a trip to Morocco after all may want to take a wheel out or something if not too complicated!

BMW have a "supplementary kit " (Part # 71607691294), it might be a good start?

Buy quality individual tools as needed to work on your bike i.e. Torx bits up to & including size T55 will allow you remove wheels & calipers. Buy a decent tool roll (Kriega or Cruz are good) also.

Before departing, take the time to learn the basics on your bike inc. torque settings. I'd also carry insulating tape, stainless lock wire, small tub of grease (35m film canister is ideal), cable ties, latex gloves, selection of screwdrivers, pliers, spanners, spare levers & tubeless puncture repair kit (string type is best IMO. Bear in mind that the type, quality & quantity of tools should reflect your mechanical abilities.

Might also be worth carrying an inner tube in case the tyre is gashed by a rock, in which case you'll need levers, tyre lube & the relevant knowledge.
