R100GS battery indicator in hot days
Hi,
When the temperature rises over 35-40ºC, in dense traffic, my battery indicator turns on whenever I stop -at a read light, neutral gear-. The bike of course is extremely warm. When the temperature goes down this doesn´t happen. What does this mean? Thanks |

See
http://nyquist.ee.ualberta.ca/~schmaus/batfaq But in short - is is chemistry ... voltage will vary from about 2.74 volts per cell (16.4 volts) at -40 C to 2.3 volts per cell (13.8 volts) at 50 C ...

Thanks for replying Frank. The link doesn`t work -at least right now- but it's enough with what you say!
