Power socket for R 80 Gs
Hi All There is a standart (small) power socket on my R 80 GS which I can't use tyre compressor etc accesories with it because a cigarette lighter socket doesn't fit. My technician supplied me with a socket to fit to my bike. He said I must cut the end of this socket and tie/connect a cigarette lighter socket to this plug. I have doubt about it. Infact I don't know how to fit a cigarette lighter socket to this adapter socket? Should I fit this socket anyhow to cigarette lighter socket or just connect/tie the cables? May be I must unscrew it and connect the cigarette lighter socket to this or . . . ? Do you know if I can find a cigarette lighter socket with this jack(plug? Any info and comment is welcome. Thanks

PROCAR DIN L.S. CONVERTER PLUG C0228 or one of these 12 Volt DIN Lighter-Type Socket Adapter Trophymick

Hein Gericke do an adaptor that will allow you to use a standard ciggie socket with it.
Or you can get the parts from Maplins and make one yourself.
