Pelican cases 1430 /1440

Helloo

Did any one tried Pelican cases like 1430 or 1440 as a pannier for R100 gs?

Looks like a very solid solution, without sharp corners and much cheaper than the Aluminium solutions. 100% water and dust proof. Good looking too….

1550 Pelicans

I'm currently using a pair of 1550 cases on an F800GS and have had no problems. They're strong and slightly compliant, which is useful when the bike goes over!
The only disadvantage is the side opening, which can make it a bit difficult to remove stuff when they're mounted. However, I've made them easily detachable so it isn't a major problem.
Anton.

Pelican Saddle Bags

I recommend the Pelicans also, especially the 1440 Case because it is top loading: Pelican 1440 Top Loader Case (No Foam)

Much easier to get things in and out of the case. And lockable too.
