Ohlins on the R1200GS
Just an update, I now have the Ohlins fitted and am now at work in Tanzania. I travelled from Nairobi to Narok and Kisii and then crossed the border near Tarime, TZ.
The suspension is workinng fine with me finding some bad road (Is there any other in Kenya) on my way down. The front is a bit washy but I have to set this shock up more. I think that I will overcome this problem though. Bike sits a little higher than standard and of course I have short legs but we can live with that. So in summary, I am not sure yet if the Ohlins are worth their AUD$3000 price tag but if they don't leave you stranded in the middle of the bush somewhere then they are arn't they? Cheers Ivan
