Mid life update! What to fiks before next long trip?

I have an 1150 adv with 72000k`s on the clock. The bike has been perfect, exept from the maine rear wheel bearing replesment at 40tkm.
I am now planning a new trip, approximetly 50tkm`s. So, my qvestion is, what whould you have done to the bike before the trip? How many k`s does a clutch last?

My ABS has malfunktioned and I have played around with the thought of removing the whole thing. Is this tecnicaly posible? Will the bikes brain cope with this?

My 1150's clutch is original with 160,000+ miles. It depends on how you ride the bike...

1- Check pivot bearings, replace if needed
2- Start with new rear drive bearing...and take a spare (bearing and seal)
3- You will need 1 or 2 sets of rear brake pads during your trip, possibly 1 set of fronts
4- Take 1 spare fuel filter, relocating the filter outside the tank might be a good idea
5- Take 1 each of male and female fuel quick disconnects
6- Maybe take a couple of spare tail light bulbs
7- Start with a good alternator belt and take a spare
8- Start with fresh throttle cables unless they've recently been changed
9- You will probably wear out a bushing or both on the throttle bodies if they're original, but no real concern
10- Start with fresh air filter and at some time you will need another
11- Check the rearward mounting tabs for the front beak, on the 'hoop' under the dash. These will break if you run over rough roads, but can be easily reinforced with little additional metal tabs welded, home-made fix.

The '03 and on model years (USA) have the servo brakes (except for the Sport). If ABS acts up on the prior year models, I wouldn't worry about it. Know how to 'jump' and reset the ABS..if you're concerned.
