Laminar Lip, what is the best height?? help
I have a R1200GS BMW, I purchased the Laminar Lip and would like to know if someone else out there has installed one a these plastic peices for there windsheild.
*What is the best height to rduce wind buffeting etc? *What is too high? Any help would be great. JV |

I have always duct taped mine to TEST it. To save the little velcro-like pieces. Start at even height to original shield, and move upward as needed testing by riding the bike at speed. It needs to be mounted solidly so don't go all the way up, but mine are fairly high, as I'm tall. Sometimes I think I found the best spot, and weeks later need to move it again, and I mess up the velcro, so be careful.
