'Jump Starting' between boxers...


Hi - can anyone confirm the correct lead wiring for jump starting between two boxers..?

I guess it's +ve to +ve and -ve to frame, I just want to check before something horrible happens..!

Yup, that's it!

Make sure bikes are NOT touching.

Connect the positive to the good battery FIRST, then to the BAD battery, then connect negative to the good battery and to the FRAME - NOT BATTERY - of the bike RECEIVING the boost LAST.

Once running, removal is reverse order of assembly...
