I am looking for the 43 ltr tank for a 81 GS.Where in the UK can i find this item?

I’ve been looking into this myself. In the UK, Bracken and Motorworks both do the tank, Motorworks are slightly cheaper but they are both quite a bit more expensive than buying from Germany. Touratec seem to be very reluctant to ship to the UK and will either point you towards Bracken or quote so much for postage it’s not worth shipping. HPN seem to be the best bet and ship to the UK for a reasonable amount I will probably be using them unless I can come up with a better alternative.

The tank designed by HPN/made by Acerbis is for the 1988 on Gs's.The tank for the early Gs is designed and made my
Acerbis only and is slightly different.
It is possible to make the later tank fit the earlier bike with a few small mods.
I bought my tank from Wudo(great service) in germany before Touratech and Wunderlich were available in the UK.
You easiest route would be through Bracken as they carry them in stock.
