Fatjack, are you looking for a used (not recommended!) or new? This should be a stocked part at a BMW shop - if you can't get it locally, what about getting one shipped UPS from a larger dealer like San Hose BMW? There are mail order dealers in the UK, but I would be surprised if you couldn't get one from somewhere close to where you are....

More info please....

yes it should be an in stock part but there are none in the country (us) and one on back order. there are some in germany but there dosnt seem to be a very fast way to get one here. the guy that has the bike in his repair shop goes on two week vacation in a few days. i have checked all over the country for a good used one but cant find anything.

Hey Jack,
In Montana try Bob'd Motorwerks, Bob Clement, Roberts Mt. tel no. 406 445 2044. He will fix your rear drive or know what to do. He is the best Airhead mechanic I know.
You could also go on line to thru the Airheads club site to the Airlist for help. Instructions for doing so are posted on their website. No dougt a lister has the parts you need. Bill
