I've had both Anakee and Anakee2 tyres on my GSA. I found that the Anakee2 had better grip and lasted a lot longer. I only managed around 11000km on the Anakee, but more than 24000km on the Anakee2. Most of my riding was long trips(slower speeds but carrying a load) so I don't have any feedback on what sort of mileage you could expect. Personally I will be sticking with the Anakee2's even though they are slightly dearer.

I always use Metzeler Tourances (not EXP). Front I get btn 12-17k. Rear 10-15k depending on where/how I ride.
Any road tyre with dual compound (with harder middle) would be good for commuting but it all comes down to personal preferences and how you ride. ie. hard acceleration with cold tyres will wear out your tyre a lot faster. For buying I use: Pneus Online: Expert store for tyre selling online and motorized classifieds NB Pneus Online also has a tyre reviews and a little profile/characteristics graph for each tyre. For reviews see: Official Tire Review Thread - ADVrider Anakee vs. Tourance - ADVrider
