HArd to comment, not very clear - if it's an Acerbis tank - very thick plastic - it is excellent. Work well, very reliable. If it's not an Acerbis, who knows - can't help, sorry!

It`s a long story about this tank, a guy in Buenos Aires copy it from a real steel PD tank that belong to a couple that was travelling around South America (I think that it`s the story). So the only I know about the tank is material -fiber glass- so my mero important question that kind of material support gas, even for long time. I don`t know the guy, and I don`t trust on it.
Thanks Grant,

Nicolas.

Quality fiberglass is no problem, millions of tanks made of fiberglass. Had a couple myself.

Note the word "quality"

If it's poorly made it will leak eventually - but then, same with any material. Best part about fiberglass, is you can always repair it easily.

Also note - "plastic" isn't "fiberglass" for future reference. Plastic is material used in dirt bike fenders for instance. Fiberglass has visible strands or "fibers" in it and is also used to make sailBOATS. SHIPS are oil tankers, freighters, cruise ships etc.

hope that helps,
