gs 1150 burnt valves
has anyone had problems with burnt exhaust valves on th ebove bikes? i filled with fuel in switzerland and 200 miles later at 80mph on the motorway suddenly lost power. 2 burnt valves on r/h cylinder.everything checked out ok so replaced all ex valves.no problems since(has done 15,000 miles) any ideas?

Were the valve clearances way too tight? If so,this could cause a burnt valve as the valve fails to seat & the hot exhaust gas can burn away the edges. resulting in a loss of power
