gasoline consumption BMW F650GS

Hallo,
we want to go to Chile and Bolivia with our BMW F650GS ( 2004). Has anybody got experience in the gasoline consumption on altitudes above 4000 mm? How was the consumption driving the Atacama Desert from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni Bolivia.

Thanks for your help
Samby

Hi Samby,
about 4.5l/100Km. We didn't have much difference to lower places.
A bit more on the Laguna Road because of sand in some sections. We had (still have them) two 03 models so your twin spark should use a bit less.
Cheers
Holger
