F650 Snorkel mod

Fancy running the modified snorkel on my Dakar, but the f650.com link doesn't work. As far as I can tell, it just involves cutting a slice or drilling holes in the snorkel, allowing more air in and more noise out. Is there more to it than this? Ta.

Seems to be all about older F650's.

Note that you will have to rejet if you start modding the airbox. Got spare jets? Got time? Got expertise? If not, don't mess with it, it's a can of worms.

Thanks, Grant. Different bike, different link - I should have been clearer. It's a common enough mod, limited power gain with standard pipe but increased induction rasp. Butch. The link to the Touratech page has been down for days, and as my bike's in half right now, I thought I'd ask here.

Spare jets? Er, nope. Time? Nothing but. Expertise? That's the beauty of clever friends and a magical fuel injection system. And if those worms turn, I can always duct tape over their holes.
