F650 repair manual

I'm buying a new F650 GS for my trip. The only manual available seems to be a Clymer one which covers 95-2000 models. Can anyone tell me how much of the bike has changed from that time - and whether the manual is still useful? I think this was before they moved the tank - but if the engine is basically the same it might still be worth buying.

And on a separate issue - has anyone come across a CD or online version of any motorcycle manuals? I know there are lots of links to little bits of information - but no single comprehensive site or product appears to exist. I for would pay for a CD-ROM that meant I didn't need to take the manual with me. What about anybody else?

I think the Clymer manual only applies to the original Funduro models, and as the GS is very different (almost entirely so), it's not applicable.

However, BMW now sell the GS manual on CD, which is much cheaper than the paper F650 manual (i think i paid £50 for a paper one in the UK). Look at www.motobins.co.uk or www.motorworks.co.uk for a price.

Brilliant result - thanks very much. Couldn't find it on motorworks but motobins have the CD listed at £30.
