F650 GS (2004) Tires - easily availlable in Turkey/Stans?

Hi All :mchappy:
I've been searching the forums but haven't found much so maybe you can help?

We are about to set off RTW on our F650 GSs (2004 twinspark, tire size: front: 110/90/19, back: 130/80-17 -as far as I know) and are faced with a dilemma. Do we lug knoblies of our choice all the way to the Stans, where we'll need/want them? Or do we simply buy them when we get there? So we need to know:

1) How easy is it to get the right size tires in the Stans?
2) Is it easier in Turkey and should we get them there?
3) Will we just order them online and have them delivered to Turkey/the Stans and what would the costs for delivery and import duties be (best guestimate?)
4) We still have one set of knoblies with a good few miles left on the front tire and some on the back. Is it worth the hassle of taking them with (weight + on- and off loading them every day)?

:helpsmilie: any links to helpful discussions/opinions/forums welcome! (Also kinda urgent as we're off real soon....)

Thanks!

Order them with Bora inTurkey and collect when going through.

FYI the stock size is 100/90 front. But any 110/80 works even with the small mudguard

Probably easier in Turkey, as that´s the last country on your route, where you see some big bikes with similar tyre sizes.

But I´ve no personal experiences about getting tyres in Turkey, because when I set off for India, I switched new tyres on in Greece.
