Decent knobblies on 1150 GSA

Need to get decent off road rubber on my 2002 1150GSA for off road events.

So hubs, spokes, rims all wanted

Any recommendations on tyres for the rather lardy 1150 GSA

Will regular 250 / 450 Moto-X rims be OK, are they strong enough. Do they work with BMWs somewhat unusual X-Spokes?

Certainly cheap on fleabay.

Any advice appreciated - Mike

Here are some excellent tyres the Mefo tyres are superb - better than tkc and Metzeler enduro they also do a range of stone master and off road master . The nice people at Zen would advise you whats most suitable for your intended use. since trying out Mefo's I do not use anything else. Tyres & Tubes
