Question Cat Code plug for a R1150GS: for low octane

Hello all,

Any pointers where I can get hold of a low octane cat code plug for the 1150 GS? It is a 3 prong plug unlike the standard 2 prong. I think its grey....

Either that or if anyone actually knows what the connections are.

Any info would be great!

Thanks folks

Try a search in the UKGSER forum, search under 'steptoe cat code'

All the cat code plugs do is make different connections between the pins, but I guess you've sussed that. Couldn't find the answer you need but with luck you can track it down.

have a look here too

Rickg

I've already had a play with the Stoeptoe mod. It was handy for carburrating for a Y piece and remus, but not for this, I'm afraid.

I've seen the plug I mean already whilst in Argentine: another GSer from Germany had one!!

But never found it myself...
