bmw r1200
Am planning to ride one up from the U.S. to Argentina. Am looking for comfort and style. Is the BMW R1200 a good option? What year model has proven the best if so? What accesories are indispensable?

Do you mean the new R1200GS or one of the older R1200 cruiser style bikes?
1200GS would be fine, cruiser bike could do it but choose your roads carefully.

I've not travelled there but many have. Do a search on this site, should be of help.
It all depends on what you want to see. I'd love to do South America but would want a Dual Sport bike of some sort to reach the out of the way places with the best views.
