Anyone used this website???

Hello all
Has anyone used the website mobile.de - der Automarkt für Gebrauchtwagen und Neufahrzeuge - Finden oder Verkaufen Sie einfach und schnell ihr Auto ,
It seems like a great website with loads of 2nd hand bikes. (loads of r80gs-g/s which are of interest to me) ......Its german but has an english section (top right hand of page). Also you need to choose the motorcycle section.
looks the bees knees .Any experiences?

Yup. Use it every time I'm looking for another bike/car. Prices are better than France/UK but the biggest reason is choice.

Germany is the biggest motorcycle market in Europe so there is more of everything to choose from. There are currently 48 r100gs's for sale. You would not find so many in other countries.

Another site thats good is http://www.motoscout24.autoscout24.de - has a higher percentage of private sellers, (and its not owned by ebay)

I have only limited experience with that page.

However, as far as I know the offers on that page have generally the reputation of being overpriced (for Germany).

So do not forget to negotiate!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
