Wow!

Lots of cool advice.
I'm In Pakistan, heading south from Islamabad towards Uch. Then DG Khan and to Quetta.
I always ride on a white long sleeve Tshirt. Elbow protectors. I can't wear my Rukka jaket, find it too much on the extreme heat, although is bearable. The problem is the stopping. On the mov eit circulates air very well but once you are stationary...
I wear Rukka troussers no problen even if they are black.
The only trick I can share is: i carry a net bag. I put a botle of cold water wrapped in a wet cloth. It keeps the water fresh while the water evaporates. after, it turns into tea.
If you put a bottle of frozen water like that you can have cold water almost an entire riding day.
The hottest palces I've been where Delhi, Amristra and Lahore. Now is not so hot but let's see what's Iran Like.
One more thing: avoid the foreing tourist campimg in Islamabad unless you enjoy to listening to explosions and gunfire.
Thanks all for the advice and hope to coincide with some of you around here.
Fernando

A trick I learned from family in sicily.
Freeze a plastic litre bottle of water ( not completely full or the ice will break the bottle) Carry it insulated ( wrapped ina towel) it will melt slowly, so drink teh melted water every hour or so. That way you pace your drinking.
In places where the water is suspect. buy bottle water and remove (drink? ) a little before freezing.
