Alternator warning light
Hi
The alternator warning light on my 93 R80GS came on for about 10s whilst touring in Belgium a few weeks ago. I was only doing about 20mph, blipped the throttle and it went out again. It hasn't come on since. Is this a notice of impending doom in the charging system arena? ------------------ Sean

Maybe stuck or worn alternator brushes.
