Aerostich air horn

Anyone fitted an aerostich air horn to an R1200GS and if so any problems? Ride safe.

I do prefer -real- horns -;)
Cool intro:
FIAMM Group

In Italy you can obtain the usable dual trumpets:

FIAMM Group

The BMW electrical horns installed on the K100RT/K1100LT series are good, but not even close to Fiamm's real air-horns.

To get even more sound - use two compressors; one for each horn.

But... you are riding a GS... so you will find it hard to install real horns -:(
Go with the BMW RT/LT horns. You can pick-up such from the scrapyards for fair prices.
You will find retailers on this site, e.g.:

US alternatives:
METALARTS Loud Motorcycle Air Horns, show quality motorcycle accessories
Moyvalley Autocentre AIR HORNS
RIVCO Products, Inc.*::*Harley-Davidson*::*Air Horns - Harley Davidson
Air-Horns
Road Captain USA.com ยป Harley-Davidson Air Horn

Good luck!
Looking forward to see/hear about your installation and what horns you choose in the end -:)

I put a Stebel Magnum on my 09 R1200 GS.
It is smaller than a air horn and does not require wiring another relay in.

Thanks for the info guys, take me a while to work through it all. In passing, anybody come across one that also gives you a choice of obscene discriptive phrases in Spanish/English at the same volume? Ride safe.

Hi Guys, well I've finally fitted a couple of FIAMM Freeway blasters to the 1200gs and the only problems are 1. it knocks 5mph off the forward speed when you use them. 2. Since I fitted them no other road user has given me cause to coruscate them in an auditory manner. Still, when I get to Halifax I can have a chat with the boats and lighthouses on an equal footing or floating or whatever. Ride safe.
