The best suggestion I can make is for you to use the search function at the top of this page. There have been many, many posts regarding this matter and I'm sure you will find the answers you seek in the older threads.

The TKC80s that come standard on your bike seem to be acceptable...

Dogo,

I have a R1150GS that has made the runs to Deadhorse, AK, Nova Scotia and Mexico. The choice of tires depends on what roads your are traveling and how much logevity you need. For mostly paved roads, I think the Metz Tourances are the best and they last about 10K miles. For more travel off paved roads the Conti TKC-80's are great, but wear quickly...the rear will be gone in under 5K miles. Life is always a compromise...

I rode around Africa on tubeless TKC-80's and got up to 6000 miles on an equal mix of tarmac, pistes and off-road. I only had one punture and that was from a nail in a hotel carpark. Even when you let the air out they are not great in sand and mud on such a heavy bike
