Question 1200 GS Speedometer/BC

I searched all over HUBB, Advrider and UKGser without luck about changing BC units on 2006 1200 GS Adv.
I got one of the first 12GSAdv that hit US market but still haven't figured out if it's possible to change miles / gallons to kms / liters on board computer.
Crossing borders and changing continents would be so much easier!!

If i missed something in Tech forum or out of any other source of information
someone please point me in the right direction.

Hasta la proxima
