XT660Z Tenere for sale in Alaska, August 2013

Hi Everyone!

I'm currently 2months into an 8month trip from Ushuaia, Argentina to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Unfortunately I've realised that I'm not going to have money in the bank to ship the bike back home, to the UK...

So I've decided the best thing to do would be sell it to someone else who would be interested in taking it for another trip! The bike would come with panniers, tools, cooker and other bits and pieces I've bought for this trip that I wouldn't need at home anymore..

I haven't yet even thought of a price, just seeing if people would be interested...? I know it's not sold in the US and a couple of Americans have raised their ingest (as they aren't sold in the US) but obviously the easiest would be to sell it to a Brit...swap over the V5 document and send you on your way!

Does this appeal to anyone...??

Ollie

Hello Ollie,

I might be interested. Do you have any idea of what price you are looking for and how much it would cost to ship/fly the bike back to the UK?

Thanks,

Ollie (lol)

Arrow XT660 still for sale Alaska?

Hi, Did you get a buyer for the Tenere? I'm due to send my Tenere out to Alaska (from UK) in early august, just saw your post - so could be an option!? Otherwise, I'm in same boat as you - 3 months later I will have an XT660 somewhere in USA, or Mexico or?? waiting to either ship back or find a new rider. I'd had a similar idea as you, I posted a quick site for the bike - thought maybe the bike could continue its own journey without me! see; motorbike journey.com (it's already been to China)

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
